Gammelgårdens legendary waffles

Enjoying a waffle at our sister hotel Gammelgården is a must. Their waffle recipe is steeped in tradition and has been used for over 100 years. Of course, the recipe is a secret, but we will give you one very special ingredient, Vichy water in the batter.

The Waffle Cabin was moved to its current location in 1945 from Malungsfors however it was built in the 1600s. The Cabin quickly became a must destination for all Högfjällshotellet guests soon after its relocation.
